Talk about your getting while the getting’s good…Paid Content reports that the chief architect of the Google Books settlement is leaving the company to take a general counsel job at Twitter. Yep, Alexander Macgillivray tossed $60 into the author tip jar, and probably cashed out his Google options and will no doubt get a bunch of Twitter options.
The rich keep on getting richer.
Good thing he’s made some on-the-record statements that will help in the Department of Justice investigation into potential Sherman Act violations.
