The Onion’s spoof on TED is hilarious. We ask you to watch this one on social media. Ask yourself how many times have you watched these people pitch on the flimsy “value propositions” of social media.
Then ask yourself why is it so funny? Because you know it to be true.
Now think about the SOPA campaign and ask yourself why it was that Cass Sunstein of the Obama Office of Management and Budget wrote a memo prohibiting the use of social media for policy making by executive branch departments.
Except for SOPA, of course.
